Hogwarts might be the only school in the world from which students are actually disappointed to depart during summer vacation. Imagine being a young wizard or witch, going to school every day in a magical castle, boarding with your best friends, riding magical creatures, and learning how to control such enchanting skills. Then imagine having to say goodbye to all of that for two whole months and returning to living like a muggle in your parents' home.

Forget summer vacation, what wouldn't we all give to live in a place like Hogwarts for the rest of our lives? Who needs the beach when you have Hogsmeade? Who needs ice cream when you have fancy feasts at the Great Hall? Who needs planes when you can ride broomsticks?
